The design was inspired by the topographical drawings from Tunnicliffe’s Birdlife. Complimentary to the textured areas are the fine details in traditional and composite stitches creating a sensitive translation of the feathered birds and their reflections on the water. Play with shades of blue, amber, ivory and ochre with reflections of khaki and green undertones The approximate size of this design is A4 landscape with the background fabric measuring 40cm x 40cm.
Skill level: All embroiderers with some knowledge welcome
