Introduction to Freeform Knitting & Crochet with Prudence Mapstone

Do you only know the basics of knitting and/or crochet? Even so, you can still easily take just a few simple stitches and use them to design your own unique artwork. The only knit stitches that Prudence used in this Art-to-Wear cape were rows of knit or purl, and all of the crocheting was made using the treble stitch. Once you have practiced a few basic techniques and discovered how easy it is to intuitively design your own freeform fabrics, imagine what you will be able create with knitting or crochet.
