Create this delicate lace like shawl by machine collage and stitching all those exotic fabric scraps and precious leftover “Tid Bits” from other projects that you just cannot bear to throw away. Dissolving fabric techniques will not be used to create this lace. The shawl can be as formal as you may desire or, simply a fun and funky wearable. It will depend upon your imagination, the desired look required and the stash you have on hand to play with on the day.
Beads, machine made cords and cabling techniques will be added to complete the overall effect.
Free motion embroidery techniques will be used in this workshop.
Skill level: All welcome
Kit cost: A comprehensive student requirement list will be sent to all students.
A sewing machine will be required. If you do not have one they are available to rent.
