During this workshop you will create exquisite fine free motion machined embroidered lace, working with washaway stabilizer fabric. After constructing the bag base from beautiful hand dyed velvet we will explore different ribbon techniques for the flower arrangement and make groovy buds with sadi threads, beads and sequins. To complete this stunning design we will finish by making special cords & handle.
Skill level: Ability to free motion machine embroider or stipple

Students will be required to bring a sewing machine that is able to do free motion machine embroidery. If you are unable to bring one there will be shared machines for use.
